Why it is important to update your browser

For those of us who are still forced to use Microsoft’s antiquated Internet Explorer 6, the sidebar of this blog looks slightly pathetic.

The image below shows the differences in spacing between IE6 on the left and the latest Firefox on the right. I would hope that newer versions of Internet Explorer would read whatever coding there is governing the vertical spacing more appropriately.

If you are looking at this blog using IE6, please update now. Actually it looks like rubbish in IE7 as well. It is little clues like this which expose the online alliances. Let’s hope that WordPress sucks up to Microsoft before IE8 is released.
